easton...cooper...porter??

this past week we had fall soccer pictures for my youngest son.
as i was filling out the order form i was reminded of his spring soccer picture...

now to anyone who doesn't know me and my family you're probably thinking "ok normal soccer picture what' the big deal?"
if you do know us you know that this is not my son cooper...it is porter!

so i get his picture envelope in the mail and pull this photo out to see cooper's name fully across porter's picture and immediately i'm mad at the YMCA and the photographers. surely it's their fault! cooper has done YMCA sports before so they just got their information mixed up. that was just one of the thoughts going through my head as i'm searching for the order form so i can find the phone number to  call and let someone know they screwed up. of course it couldn't be me!

well, i eventually find the form and right smack in front of my face i see "cooper jones" written in the name category by yes..of course...yours truly!! i slowly hang the phone up...oops:)

while sitting in disbelief that i actually did that i remembered a recent status of mine on my facebook page, it went like this:

"cooper asked me "mom, why can't you ever get our names right? i mean you've had porter for 3 yrs and me for 6 and easton for 8?" ...good question coop...or whoever you are! LOL!"

mommy brain...momnesia..or what ever you want to call it---i've got it!!!
this is just one of many incidents from this past year that confirms it for sure!

someday years down the road this will be a funny reminder of these crazy days of juggling so many different things in the mommy-hood!

oh okay! it's funny now!!

(and yes, i filled the form out correctly this time around...i think!)
